The under-19s' reward for seeing off Alloa in the SFA Youth Cup on Sunday is a home tie against Ross County. The match will be played at the start of next month.

By my reckoning, which is probably wrong, we are down to the last 16 of the competition - although there could be more clubs to come in if they get byes straight to the fifth round.

If that's not the case, it's a good chance for our youngsters to make it through to the quarter-finals. However, County have a decent youth set-up and have the Highland football academy right next door to Dingwall.

The game will be played at St. Mirren Park on Sunday, December 6.
