Jon McShane and Mark Lamont scored to give Saints' kids an away win over Hamilton Accies this afternoon. Let's hope this is an omen for the game between the two clubs in the SPL tomorrow!

Hamilton have a pretty good youth set-up so it's good for us to get a win against them, especially away from home. McShane put Saints into the lead in the first half before Hamilton equalised just after the break. However, with eight minutes left Lamont - who I'll confess I've not heard much about - struck the winner.

Well done lads - same again against Airdrie in the Youth Cup next week please!
