It was the turn of the under-19s to lose a cup game to Rangers today, a single goal at St. Mirren Park spelling the end of their participation in this year's SFA Youth Cup at the quarter-final stage.

The youngsters were on top for most of the game but couldn't take their chances (sound familiar) and as the hour mark approached, Rangers' Archie Campbell struck with the game's only goal to send the visitors through.

Unlucky lads, maybe your run will get some of you into the first team squad - although I wouldn't hold my breath.
