John Coughlin and Stewart Gilmour have both dismissed Andy Walker's claims about the backroom setup at Love Street. Walker had claimed that Coughlin's assistant, Gus MacPherson, was appointed without his consultation, and players have also been signed without his say.

In an 18 minute long audio interview with The Official Site, Coughlin claims that the club contacted Walker to try and find his source, but he was unable to say who the source was. Coughlin also says that MacPherson is a bit unhappy about the claims, and that he knows the truth. Interestingly, Coughlin does not actually deny the rumours by calling Walker a liar, or saying they are untrue. Coughlin's comments on this issue seem to be to say much without revealing much, but the interview is definitely worth a read.

Meanwhile, Black and White Army contacted chairman Gilmour, who classed Walker's comments as "usual media scandal mongering", and that Coughlin and MacPherson met each other before MacPherson was officially appointed.
