David van Zanten has won his appeal against a booking he received during last Saturday's crucial match against Dunfermline Athletic. The Saints defender was given a yellow card for his involvment in a skirmish with Jim Hamilton, but won the appeal as he wasn't the player involved.

The player who should have been booked was actually John Potter, which makes you wonder just how the hell the referee managed to get the wrong player. probably just as well he did, as Potter later went on to pick up a booking.
