St Mirren progressed to the final of the Renfrewshire Cup, with a 6-1 victory over Viewfield Rovers, at Love Street
St Mirren tonight secured their place in this years, Renfrewshire Cup Final. Viewfield Rovers were the opponents against a St Mirren side which included a few first team regulars such as Smith, Anderson + McGinity.The goals came from Molloy, McGinty (3), Anderson + Reilly.
The goal for Rovers can only be described as a defensive error from trialist, Gus MacPherson, who played a pass back to Chris Smith too far, and it subsequently proved an easy tap in for David McCulloch.
An entertaining match to watch, and yet another cup final to look forward to.
