When footballers get too old or find out they aren't good enough to play professional football anymore, they often drop down to junior football. One ex Saint has recently found himself a club in the juniors, whilst one may be moving on.

Following a period training with them, Barry Lavety signed for Neilston Juniors just over a week ago. Basher left Love Street for the third time in the summer, having hardly played the previous season. It's good to see him getting a new club, and comes just after he was banned from the roads for drink driving.

The one that might be moving on is Ricky Robb. Ricky left Love Street about a year ago, having been on loan for a bit to Gretna. In his first season with Saints he didn't seem too bad at first, but was awful when moved to right back. He signed for Maybole in the summer, but they have now transfer listed him and are open to offers.
