Former Saints goalkeeper Kris Robertson has finally found himself a new club. The youngster, who has had trials with Crewe, Celtic, Dumbarton and Burnley, has signed a one month contract with SPL side Aberdeen.

With a few goalkeeping injury problems, Aberdeen have brought Robertson in as cover for David Preece. He has only signed a contract for November, but could get a chance to play at some stage.

Robertson had been linked with Aberdeen in the summer but the move did not come off. He is also meant to be going on trial to Southampton in January.

Whether he will be at Aberdeen permanently or not is debatable. Personally I think Robertson is only slightly better than the truly awful Derek Scrimgour, so he could well struggle in the SPL.
