It has been revealed that Saints midfielder Simon Lappin doesn't need an operation after all. It had been feared the youngster would need an operation on his knee.

After talking to some surgeons, however, it was discovered the problem isn't as bad as was feared and he could be back to full training in just two weeks.

In other injury news, Eddie Annand will miss Saturday's game, whilst Barry Lavety and Allan Russell should hopefully return to the squad.
