Saints have revealed that a new manager will be in place this week, with the smart money being on caretaker boss Gus MacPherson. ALso announced was the much predicted arrival of a new director.

Both announcements came at yesterday's AGM, which shareholders have said was the shortest for a while, due to a lack of a manager and the stadium deal being off limits.

The new manager will be announced before Sturday's game with Raith, no doubt being Gus MacPherson. Former boss John Coughlin has effectively been sacked, as a severence package with him has been announced.

Meanwhile, Gordon Scott, who owns Laidlaw Scott builders has been made a director.
