Gus MacPherson is set to be rewarded for keeping Saints in the SPL by being awarded a new contract. The Saints boss had a clause in his contract that was to see his future reviewed at the end of the season.
MacPherson still has a year left on his current deal, but it is now set to be extended, along with the deals of coaching staff Andy Millen and Stuart Balmer. How long the extension will be is unclear at present, but hopefully it won't be a Tom hendrie style five year contract!
The Saints boss also confirmed today that it is set to be a hectic few days as the club bids to sort out the contracts of players such as John Potter, Stewart Kean and Saturday's goalscorers John Sutton and Billy Mehmet.
