Saints player Simon Lappin has made another appearance for the Scotland under 21 side, playing in last night's defeat against Sweden. The midfielder has been a permanent fixture in Ranier Bonhof's squad this year.
Lappin was apparently the worst of the Scottish players on show last night, which isn't good news. However, the fact he is getting in the squad at all is impressive, as he is one of the few SFL players making it.How long until Kirk Broadfoot gets a call up (providing he avoids jail)? If he was playing in the SPL he'd have been in the full squad by now.Come on Bonhof, get him in!
