A recent Mirren Mad poll shows that the majority of Saints fans feel Gus MacPherson should only have been given the job permanently if he proved he was up to the job. Whilst he managed two wins and a draw before landing the job, this really isn't enough to judge him on.

Certainly the results, and the performances, have been better than under Coughlin's last few weeks, however this could just be the usual, where a team performs well for a few weeks under a new manager. The majority feel Gus should have had to prove himself. 7 points out of 9 is a good start, but three games is possibly not enough to prove yoursel on.
