Brady is one of several Dundee players who have been asked to take a pay cut, the others being Simon Lynch, Steven Robb and Tam McManus. All four are now available for nothing, meaning no transfer fee will need to be paid for Brady.
The midfielder is seen by some Saints fans as the ideal replacement for Andy Millen in the holding midfield role, and with the player/assistant manager now 41 it certainly seems a good idea to bring in someone who'se over ten years younger!
The Daily Record reports that Brady will sign sometime in the next 48 hours, and Dundee chief executive Dave MacKinnon said: "The deal is almost done and we'd like to wish Garry all the best for the future."
However, according to The Courier, the local paper in Dundee, the deal will be completed a week on Monday, the 26th of June.
Whichever is right, it seems that we're finally about to make our first proper signing. |
