Saints on loan midfielder Charlie Adam has been handed his second call up to the Scotland under 21 squad. The Rangers player made his debut for the national side at Firhill a few months ago and has been named in the squad to face Northern Ireland and Turkey at the end of the season.
Adam is expected to leave Saints in the summer, either to return to Rangers or to move to another SPL club. Nonetheless, the continual call ups is a sign that his loan spell has been worthwhile.Charlie has been fantastic for Saints this season, scoring goals from midfield and proving a threat with free kicks and long range shooting. When he returns to Ibrox in the summer, Rangers will be getting a far better player than the one who joined us on loan in August.
Well done Charlie. Now, how about agreeing to stay with Saints next season?
