| Mirren Mad is now back in action, but it seems I've missed sod all in the last week or so. No signings, no one leaving, in fact it's been all quiet down at Love Street. |

| Well, for ten days or so anyway. Due to the fact I have a university exam to prepare for, the exam strangely being scheduled for next Saturday, there will sadly be no more updates on Mirren Mad for a while. |

| Saints have announced this afternoon that David van Zanten has agreed to stay at Love Street. It looked as if the right wing back's future lay elsewhere after his contract expired and there was no sign of him agreeing a new deal. |

| Saints Kirk Broadfoot picked up another cap for the Scotland under 21 side when he played the full ninety minutes against Northern Ireland last night. Former Saint Charlie Adam also played the full game. |

| There is good news and bad news for Saints fans this afternoon. The good news is that both Simon Lappin and Mark Corcoran have pledged their futures to Saints. The bad news is that David van Zanten has rejected his new deal and looks set to leave. |

| Saints only home friendly of the summer will be played against Partick Thistle on Tuesday 25th July, just a few days before the SPL season kicks off. There will be no other friendlies at Love Street this year due to the installation of undersoil heating. |

| Six Saints players have agreed to extend their stay with Saints for another year. Club captain Kevin McGowne and Alan Reid are the biggest of the six names, with the other four being youngsters John Baird, David McKenna, Craig Molloy and Ryan McCay. |

| Saints could be staying at Love Street for a little longer after it was revealed talks to sell the ground are not progressing as quickly as was hoped. Saints are hoping to sell Love Street to a supermarket chain and build a new stadium on Greenhill Road in order to clear the club's debt. |

| Saints have revealed that they will offer parent and child season tickets for the North Bank after all. When the ticket prices for the SPL campaign were announced on Wednesday, the only place such tickets were available for was the Reid Kerr Stand. |

| Saints have today released details of the prices of season tickets for next season. Understandably there have been price increases with SPl football to prepare for, but discounts are being offered to people who buy their ticket before 11th June. |

| Work to install undersoil heating at Love Street will begin next week after the club withdrew their request to the SPL for a year's grace. The system is expected to cost upwards of £150,000, although bits of it can be used at the new stadium. |

| Saints are supposedly lining up former Kilmarnock midfielder Gary Holt as their first signing as they start preparations for next season's SPL campaign. Holt has not enjoyed the best of seasons at Nottingham Forest and played alongside Saints boss Gus MacPherson at Killie. |

| Saints boss Gus MacPherson believes that the club will have to install under heating at Love Street to play in the SPL next season. Saints are currently seeking dispensation to avoid wasting money on installing a system that will be obsolete within a year. |
